Development unpaused! Long awaited demo in works! Devlog #13
Hi! A few weeks ago, I said that our team needed to pause development to that we can take a break for a week and a half. Development is getting worked on again but for the demo! We have decided to finally code in the Shack & Smack, the shop in the hub, and also that I hope not, but one of the main leaders, Galactic, has decided to make Oscar "DLC". Yep, DLC. I don't want that to be DLC at all! I at least hope there's a work around. And yes, in a few weeks or so, we can show you screenshots on how the game's going, and this will be for real, a good update for how it's doing. I will attach a few screenshots on this devlog for you to check out! We coded in abilities, made Oscar's final model, Shack & Smack, Menus, Minigames, and all of that, done! It only took about 5 and a half days to code them in. We made a way better, stylized, title screen! and you can use the touchscreen, or your cursor down to draw anything you want on it! That just leaves the hard stuff. Such as enemies moving, animated backgrounds, collectibles in-stage, and the final one that's the hardest one of all, bosses. I'm just taking my time learning how other indie developers found a way to fix their issue with their game by watching their videos. And yes, if we can hire people, animated cutscenes. Like an intro, one for every stage entered, and when you are in a boss fight. You might be worried but, we will NOT MAKE PEOPLE PAY FOR THE GAME BEHIND A PAYWALL ON PATERON. And that's all the news for now. We don't want to share screenshots now because I think more things need to be fixed or improved, and when that happens, that's good news for you! Bye!
